Biography:
Lisa Willis is excited to be at CCS
for her 4th year with such an amazing community. While she
first came to us as a parent, she found that the environment and
philosophy of the school meshed so well with her personal education
concept, she joined the staff when an opening was available.
Lisa started her professional career using her Theatre Degree as
Production Stage Manager for Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, but
wanted more time as a parent and more direct involvement with
students. She believes that all children learn differently
and thus there are many methods to teaching the content. She
is also a firm believer in the theory that the process is more
important than the product. Because each child learns at a
different rate and in different ways the end result of a project
varies. She thinks that these are the reasons that she and
Community Charter School are such a great fit!
