Biography:
Rachelle
Roberts graduated cum laude in 1987 with a Bachelor’s degree in
Education with a minor in music. She has been with CCS for 6
years. She is married and has been for 25 years.
She and her husband have 2 children. Morgan, who is almost
20, is a student at the University of Georgia, majoring in
International Affairs. Our oldest daughter was killed when
our car was struck by a tour bus on interstate 81 in PA. She
had just graduated from high school, was enrolled a UNC and about to
turn 18. She would now be 22. Her mother was also
killed in the crash. We were hurt badly but have recovered
physically. Our family, however, will always be broken.
She lives in Denver,
NC. In her spare time she takes piano lessons, studies
TaeKwon do (almost a black belt), rings handbells at my church, and
takes tap dancing lessons. She also enjoys puzzles, Sudoku,
needlepoint, and working in the greenhouse. She is a
member of the Lincoln county citizens for education, the Ladies
auxiliary of the veterans of foreign wars, and Lincoln county PTA
council.
